About Us
BIO
OLLY+FELY (The Buri Artisans) is owned and operated by
Kawayan Nature Eco Friendly Product Trading.
Established by then- Maldives-based OFWs Precious Cayaon and Jeffry Cayaon.
They started promoting the Philippine products to resorts such as bamboo straw, bamboo tumblers, buri bags and other wooden products.
And later focused on the local products of Bolinao - the buri products.
The 2019 venture make use of buri leaves to create unique bags that compete with those designed by those luxury labels.
They started making beautiful eco-friendly bags in the remote area of Santiago Island in Bolinao where the weaver’s community are also located. She gathered highly skilled weavers she thought were of international caliber.
Mrs. Cayaon is dedicated in preserving traditional craftmanship and using local materials that generate a new source of income in the community.

The story behind who are the Olly+Fely weavers is one that is true of Filipino culture.
All of which, we hope, becomes infused into every bag, mats, and planters that our weavers create.

To enable craft and artisans skills as a sustainable form of livelihoods for marginalized communities in our town.
Vision:
To preserve and evolve Bolinao craft and artisanal skills so they remain an integral part of our culture.
Objectives:
- To provide sustainable marketing platforms for artisans and craft groups.
- Reviving patronage of crafts via large scale, sustained interventions
- Facilitating design development to enhance functionality of handicrafts
- To promote education and awareness of handicrafts through interactive programs.
- Providing structured, long-term development support to enable crafts as a means of income generation and livelihood.
